RF elements Introduces the SH-WB GO Series for Scalable 5 and 6 GHz Networks
The new Wideband Symmetrical Horn family brings clean radiation patterns, strong noise rejection, TwistPort™ connectivity, and widely accessible pricing to a broader range of WISP deployments.

RF elements today introduced the Symmetrical Horn WB GO Series, a new family of wideband sector antennas developed for scalable fixed wireless networks operating across the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands.
The SH-WB GO Series combines the proven RF performance of RF elements Symmetrical Horn antennas with the new lightweight mechanical design. It creates a practical, cost-efficient option for WISPs that need controlled coverage, strong noise rejection, and the flexibility to move from 5 GHz to 6 GHz without replacing the antenna infrastructure.
The series initially includes three beamwidth options:
SH30WB-GO - 30° Symmetrical Horn WB GO
SH60WB-GO - 60° Symmetrical Horn WB GO
SH90WB-GO - 90° Symmetrical Horn WB GO
All three models cover both the 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands and use the RF elements TwistPort™ waveguide connector.
Wideband Performance Made More Accessible
RF elements introduced its first Wideband antennas in 2024, establishing a common antenna platform for the transition from 5 GHz to 6 GHz.
The SH-WB GO Series expands that platform into a more accessible product category. It is designed for operators who need reliable RF performance and long-term frequency flexibility across larger network rollouts, MicroPoPs, smaller towers, and cost-sensitive deployment scenarios.
GO Series antennas retain the characteristics that define RF elements Horn antenna technology: clean main beams, naturally suppressed side lobes, stable radiation patterns, and excellent rejection of unwanted noise.
The new mechanical architecture further reduces the product complexity and weight while maintaining the outdoor durability required for fixed wireless networks.
“GO does not mean compromising the RF performance,” said Juraj Taptic, CEO of RF elements. “The objective was to make our Wideband Symmetrical Horn technology available to a broader range of networks and deployment scenarios. We simplified the product where it made sense, so we could achieve more affordable product while still providing the beam patterns, noise rejection, and scalability that WISPs expect from RF elements.”
One Antenna Platform for 5 and 6 GHz
The SH-WB GO Series is designed to operate across both the established 5 GHz band and the emerging 6 GHz spectrum. Depending on the connected radio, TwistPort™ Adaptor, and local regulatory conditions, the same antenna can be used for 5 GHz, 6 GHz, or wideband operation.
WISPs can therefore deploy the antennas with current 5 GHz equipment while keeping the antenna infrastructure ready for future 6 GHz radios. This reduces the need to maintain separate antenna inventories and protects the investment in tower installations as radio technology develops.
The wideband architecture also provides distributors and system integrators with a more versatile product platform capable of serving multiple radio generations and regional spectrum requirements.
Three Beamwidths for Different Network Scenarios
The SH-WB GO Series offers 30°, 60°, and 90° symmetrical beamwidths, allowing operators to select the coverage pattern according to the density, topology, and capacity requirements of each site.
SH30WB-GO
The 30° model is designed for focused sectors, high-noise environments, dense co-location, and networks requiring greater frequency reuse. Multiple 30° antennas can divide a traditional wide coverage area into smaller independent sectors. This allows operators to distribute subscriber load, reuse available spectrum, and expand capacity gradually as the network grows.
SH60WB-GO
The 60° model provides a balance between coverage, gain, and sector density. It is suitable for conventional access-point sectors, MicroPoPs, and suburban deployments.
SH90WB-GO
The 90° model provides wider coverage for shorter-range sectors, smaller MicroPoPs, and outdoor Wi-Fi applications.
Clean Radiation Patterns and Noise Rejection
Symmetrical Horn antennas produce radiation patterns with the same beamwidth in the azimuth and elevation planes. Unlike conventional sector antennas with significant side lobes, RF elements Horn antennas focus RF energy into one controlled main beam. This reduces the amount of unwanted energy transmitted outside the intended coverage area and limits the interference received from other directions.
The result is better control over sector coverage, improved signal-to-noise ratio, and greater potential for spectrum reuse. These characteristics become increasingly important as networks add more access points, more sectors, and more radio capacity within the same geographical area.
The SH-WB GO Series allows WISPs to apply these network-design principles in deployments where equipment cost, weight, and installation simplicity are especially important.
TwistPort™ Radio Connectivity
All SH-WB GO antennas use the RF elements TwistPort™ waveguide connector.
Compatible radios connect directly to the antenna. Radios from other manufacturers can be integrated using a dedicated TwistPort™ Adaptor. This allows operators to use the same antenna family across multiple radio platforms. Radios can be replaced or upgraded without necessarily replacing the antenna.
Current TwistPort™ Adaptors support the operating bands of available 5 GHz or 6 GHz radio products. New wideband adaptor options covering both bands will continue to be added as compatible radio platforms enter the market.
Lightweight and Durable Construction
The SH-WB GO Series introduces a new construction developed for efficient cost, low weight, and long-term outdoor operation.
Corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout the antenna and mounting assembly. The antenna body uses formed aluminum sheets. A dual-layer outdoor-grade ABS radome protects the internal structure and provides resistance to demanding environmental conditions.
The lightweight construction simplifies transport, handling, and installation while reducing the mechanical load placed on poles, towers, and rooftop structures.
The mounting system allows the bracket position to be changed between the left and right side of the antenna, helping installers adapt the product to different site layouts and crowded mounting environments.
Designed for Broader Deployment
The SH-WB GO Series complements the existing RF elements Wideband portfolio rather than replacing its premium antenna platforms.
The standard Symmetrical Horn WB Series remains focused on maximum beam performance and rich mechanical features. The GO Series uses a simpler and more efficient product architecture to address larger-volume and more cost-sensitive deployments. This product segmentation allows RF elements to serve a broader range of WISP networks while maintaining a consistent Wideband platform, TwistPort™ ecosystem, and RF design philosophy.
The 30° GO model is using Potter horn configuration replacing the more complex corrugated horn used in SH30WB Horn antenna. The 30° GO Model continues the practical role previously served by the most deployed RF elements Symmetrical Horns such as HG3 / HG4 30° Symmetrical Horn and 30° StarterHorn, while adding full 5 and 6 GHz wideband capability.
Engineered and Manufactured in Slovakia
The SH-WB GO Series was developed by the RF elements in-house engineering team and is manufactured at the company’s own production facility in Slovakia, European Union. RF elements directly controls RF development, mechanical engineering, product testing, manufacturing implementation, and quality assurance.
The efficient GO architecture also gives RF elements the ability to produce the antennas at scale and respond to growing demand for wideband infrastructure as WISPs gradually upgrade the 5 GHz networks and adopt the 6 GHz spectrum. The launch represents another step in the expansion of the company’s Wideband portfolio and demonstrates RF elements’ ability to develop distinct product platforms for different customer and market requirements.
