RF elements Reaches 600,000 Antennas Delivered
Milestone includes more than 340,000 TwistPort™ antennas, over 180,000 Symmetrical Horns, 70,000 Asymmetrical Horns, and deployments by more than 10,000 service providers worldwide.
Bratislava, Slovakia - September 22, 2026 - RF elements has reached another major milestone: 600,000 antennas delivered to customers around the world.
The milestone reflects more than a decade of focused development in antenna technology for fixed wireless networks and the continued adoption of RF elements products by wireless internet service providers.
More than 10,000 service providers have deployed RF elements products to date. The cumulative number includes more than 340,000 TwistPort™ antennas.
600,000 Antennas in Real Networks
RF elements has focused on fixed wireless access since the company was founded in 2010. During its first years, the company developed antenna platforms for RouterBoard integration, innovative mounting systems, sector antennas, and directional dishes. Rather than continuing to compete primarily in conventional sector antennas, RF elements made a strategic decision to rebuild its portfolio around clean radiation patterns, with a strong focus on noise rejection, spectrum reuse, and network scalability.
In 2014, the company reintroduced horn antenna technology to modern fixed wireless networks. What started as a different approach to sector coverage has since developed into a broad antenna portfolio covering Symmetrical Horns, Asymmetrical Horns, UltraDish™ and UltraHorn™ directional antennas, 2x2 and 4x4 platforms, and products spanning both 5 GHz and 6 GHz.
Today, more than 180,000 Symmetrical Horn antennas and 70,000 Asymmetrical Horn antennas have been shipped. “Six hundred thousand antennas is a number we are proud of. It reflects both our engineering capability and our ability to build products that achieve long-term market adoption,” said Juraj Taptic, CEO of RF elements. “However, the more important number for us is the 10,000 service providers that have put our products into their networks over more than a decade. They made RF elements what it is today. Every antenna installed on a tower is a vote of confidence in our engineering and in the way we believe wireless networks should be built.”
More Than 340,000 TwistPort™ Antennas
A major part of the RF elements installed base is built around TwistPort™, the company’s proprietary waveguide radio interface. More than 340,000 TwistPort™ antennas have been delivered to date.
TwistPort™ combines two functions in one interface: a proprietary waveguide connector and a radio mounting system. It allows operators to combine RF elements antennas with different radio platforms, either directly or through purpose-built TwistPort™ Adaptors. This gives WISPs greater flexibility when selecting active equipment and allows antennas to remain in service through multiple radio upgrade cycles.
Over the years, the TwistPort™ ecosystem has expanded to support a broad range of radio platforms from different manufacturers. This approach has become increasingly important as fixed wireless networks evolve from 5 GHz into 6 GHz and operators seek to preserve their investment in passive infrastructure while adopting new generations of radios.
From Product Innovation to a Scalable Antenna Platform
The 600,000-unit milestone also marks the evolution of RF elements from a small product innovator into a vertically integrated technology manufacturer. RF elements develops its antenna products in-house, including RF design, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing.
The company operates its own production facility in Slovakia, European Union, giving it direct control over product development, production processes, and manufacturing quality. This vertical integration has allowed RF elements to continuously develop its portfolio while maintaining a consistent technical philosophy across multiple product generations.
In recent years, the company has expanded into a new generation of Wideband antennas covering both 5 GHz and 6 GHz. The Wideband portfolio now includes Symmetrical Horns, Asymmetrical Horns, 4x4 antennas, and high-gain directional products.
RF elements Horn antennas provide radiation patterns with heavily suppressed side lobes. This helps operators reduce unwanted interference, improve signal-to-noise ratio, reuse available spectrum, and build denser networks.
Instead of relying on one wide sector to cover a large area, WISPs can use multiple narrower sectors and increase capacity as demand grows. This concept has remained at the core of RF elements product development from the first generation of Horn antennas to the latest 5 and 6 GHz Wideband platforms.
What Comes Next
RF elements continues to invest in new antenna platforms designed for the next technology cycle while maintaining compatibility with the large installed base of existing 5 GHz networks.
“Reaching 600,000 antennas gives us a moment to look back, but we are much more interested in what comes next,” added Taptic. “Our job is the same as it has always been: build better antennas and give operators more control over their networks.”
RF elements thanks its customers, distributors, technology partners, and the global WISP community for their trust and support in reaching this milestone.
