Compact, Practical Mounting for Wave AP Gen2

The BR-WG2 Smart Bracket adds a dedicated mounting point that allows the UI Wave AP Gen2 to be installed directly on any RF elements Asymmetrical Horn Antenna with a structural aluminium ring. This creates a clean, space-efficient setup ideal for deployments where a 90° Asymmetrical Horn serves both as a failover 5 GHz antenna and as a supporting mounting structure.

Wide Compatibility Across Horn Antennas

BR-WG2 is compatible with any RF elements Asymmetrical Horn Antenna that use the structural aluminum ring, including:

  • Newest 6 GHz AH-WB Wideband Horns
  • Legacy 5 GHz AH-TP Series
  • All 4×4 Asymmetrical Horn Antennas

The mounted Wave AP device can use the horn either as a failover antenna or simply as a smart mounting point to build a more compact, integrated installation. 

Up to two BR-WG2 brackets can be installed on a single 4×4 Asymmetrical Horn (one on each side).

Simple Installation

BR-WG2 is extremely easy to install- just choose the side of the antenna and tighten four bolts. 

Designed specifically for mounting the 60 GHz Ubiquiti Wave AP Gen2 onto Asymmetrical Horn Antennas, BR-WG2 enables the Wave AP Gen2 to be aligned in azimuth and elevation together with the horn, ensuring precise, coordinated positioning.

BR-WG2 provides universal mouning point and allows attachement of any 3rd party device that can mount to the 40mm tube.

5 GHz Failover with Wave AP Gen2

With 90° Asymmetrical Horn Antennas, BR-WG2 provides an elegant, compact, and practical mounting solution. 

The robust Horn structure supports the Wave AP Gen2 unit, and azimuth/elevation adjustments are synchronized — the Wave AP Gen2 moves together with the horn.

BR-WG2 can be swapped easily between left-side and right-side installation.

This configuration works perfectly with the new AH90-WB as well as the award-winning AH90-TP.

Powerful Options With 4x4 Wideband Horns

When mounted on a 90° 4x4 Wideband Horn, BR-WG2 enables extremely flexible setups. You can use one 2x2 Horn for a 5GHz failover, while another 90° 2x2 for independent 5 GHz, 6 GHz or wideband 5+6GHz sector deployment.

With 90° 4x4 5 GHz Asymmetrical Horns

On 5 GHz 90° 4x4 Asymmetrical Horn antenna, one of the 2x2 Horns can be used as an external 5 GHz failover antenna, while the other 2x2 Horn operates as another carrier sector antenna. 

Reduce Tower Rental

BR-WG enables mounting of 60GHz Wave AP Gen2 horizontally spaced to 5 / 6 GHz Sector antennas. The horizontal mounting orientation saves valuable vertical tower space, enabling more efficient stacking of equipment.

It is perfectly possible to use BR-WG2 as mounting solution for any other device and utilizing the tower real estate to the max. Radios, Sensors, Cameras - the choice is yours. On 4x4 Asymmetrical Horns, you can use two mounts - one BR-WG2 on each side!

The surface is specially treated and passivated for extreme outdoor resistance and longevity.
