Game Changing Sector Antenna

30° Symmetrical Horn HG4 Antenna is a scalar horn antenna with a symmetrical beam pattern and a proprietary TwistPort™ (TP) waveguide connector.

Since 2014, RF elements® Horn Antennas eliminate the major drawbacks of mainstream sector antennas. They deliver excellent noise rejection, superior scalability, and increased throughput. Proven in tens of thousands of installations worldwide, the 30° Symmetrical Horn has become the industry benchmark for cost-effective sector antenna in sustainable wireless networks.

Unbeatable Beam Performance

The 30° Symmetrical Horn HG4 features a perfectly symmetrical circular beam shape — identical in azimuth and elevation — for precise coverage and predictable performance.

Virtually Zero Side Lobes

This antenna focuses energy into one main lobe while heavily suppressing side lobes to the point of being functionally invisible. The result is a clean radiation pattern that preserves the most critical resource in wireless — the spectrum.

Thanks to this design, radios equipped with Symmetrical Horns transmit and receive significantly less unwanted noise compared to conventional sector or poorly designed horn antennas.
Simply put, they stay quiet and deaf outside their main beam, ensuring excellent noise isolation and link stability.

Stable Beam and Gain Across the Band

The HG4 30° Symmetrical Horn operates across a 1600 MHz wide band, covering the entire 5 GHz range and extending into the lower 6 GHz band. Both the beam pattern and gain remain stable across frequencies — delivering consistent, reliable performance in real deployments.

Unique Coverage Pattern Without Null

Traditional sector antennas have a very flat beam with (narrow elevation beam width) that often creates signal nulls for nearby clients. They are also difficult to use in hills and mountains.

The Symmetrical Horn 30° HG4 provides a unique, null-free coverage pattern, with optional ±25° mechanical tilt, ensuring optimal coverage even for close-range clients or for clients in different elevations.

Breakthrough Scalability

Outstanding beam control and co-location characteristics allow for unprecedented sector density — scalability impossible with legacy sector antennas.

Compact

The 30° Symmetrical Horn HG4 is extremely compact — only a fraction of the size of traditional patch-array sectors. Its small footprint reduces tower rental costs and allows installations in locations where larger antennas would not be permitted.

Co-Location Champion

Naturally attenuated side lobes make the 30° Symmetrical Horn ideal for high-density cluster deployments. Since 2014, thousands of installations have proven their superior co-location performance.

TwistPort™ Connector

The HG4 features proprietary TwistPort™ waveguide connector - a virtually lossless quick-locking interface. The connection between two parts of the waveguide is virtually lossless.

Connecting is as easy as twist and lock - done with one hand in seconds. Simple and tool-free!

Cross-Platform Compatibility with TPA

Most radios in the industry still use lossy coaxial ports; a wide range of TwistPort™ Adaptors (TPA) ensures compatibility with popular radios from Ubiquiti®, Cambium Networks®, Mimosa®, and MikroTik®.

Easy Installation

Symmetrical Horn HG4 antennas are delivered fully pre-assembled and ready for deployment.

Step 1: Bracket Installation

First install the bracket on the pole. The pole bracket is reversible: it can be mounted on the left or the right side of the antenna.

Step 2: Antenna Adjustment

Slide the antenna into the bracket, fine-tune azimuth and elevation using the handle, and tighten the screws to lock it in position.

Built To Last

The HG4 antenna body is constructed entirely from aluminum for maximum durability. The center section is made of extruded aluminum, providing outstanding corrosion resistance even in harsh coastal or industrial environments.

The scalar horn is a cast-aluminum component with improved surface treatment for extra longevity. Material upgrades performed on HG4 Series ensure extended lifespan, reduced weight, and long-term reliability under harsh weather conditions.
