6 GHz Wideband Sector Antennas
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas are scalar horn antennas designed to cover both 5 and 6 GHz unlicensed bands. They provide unique symmetrical beam radiation pattern and are equipped with the game-changing TwistPort™ waveguide connector.
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas are evolution of Symmetrical Horn TP Antennas providing multiple improvements and wide range of new key features.
Since their introduction in 2014, Symmetrical Horns solve major weak points of mainstream sector antenna technologies and provide excellent noise rejection, network scalability and throughput increase. Approved by over 100.000 field deployments, Symmetrical Horn Antennas have re-defined the sector antenna performance standards in FWA industry.
Covering Both 5 and 6 GHz Unlicensed Bands
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas provide more than 2,000 MHz wide band of operation covering whole 5 and 6 GHz unlicensed spectrum! Such a wide working band enables unmatched level of investment protection enabling Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas ready for upcoming new radio standards potentially requiring both 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands to be covered by one antenna.
Coverage Without Null
Mainstream sector antennas have a radiation pattern that is very wide in azimuth cut but very narrow in elevation cut. If an AP is placed too high, the customers that are too close will suffer from low AP signal. Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas provide equal elevation and azimuth beam width, which results in a different shape of the coverage pattern, that can be further improved by antenna down tilt. This is beneficial in scenarios where CPEs are close to an elevated AP, or in deployments in mountain areas.
Breakthrough Scalability
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas offer breakthrough scalability of wireless systems. Unique beam performance and great co-location characteristics allow for a higher density of sectors than a traditional sector technology.
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas come with precise radiation angles, including 30, 60 and 90 degrees, complementing Asymmetrical Horns and UltraHorn for a wide range of models suitable for any situation.
Co-Location Miracle
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas have naturally attenuated side lobes which makes them perfect for high density cluster sector installations with high co-location requirements.
Selection of beam angles allows for a wide range of deployment scenarios, covering high distance sectors as well as MicroPoPs.
TwistPort™ Connector
Symmetrical Horn WB Antennas feature our industry-changing TwistPort™ connector, a proprietary quick-locking waveguide port. TwistPort™ is virtually lossless: with radios built according to our Reference design, there are no coaxial RF connectors or RF cables that cause signal loss. TwistPort™ Adaptors (TPA) allow to connect third party radios. Connecting TwistPort™ is brilliantly simple - “twist and lock” - all done with one hand!
Cross-Platform Compatibility in 5 and 6 GHz
Asymmetrical Horn WB Antennas can be used with any radio with RF elements TwistPort™ 5 GHz or 6 GHz male interface, as well as with a variety of third-party radios connected through a 5 GHz or 6 GHz TwistPort™ Adaptor (TPA).
New Bracket Features
New improved bracket design brings brand new features that address multiple requirements and make field deployment easy as pie.
Three Different Radiation Angles
Symmetrical Horn WB offer three different radiation angles covering 30°, 60° and 90° beam width. They offer major preferred angular fractions of the circle helping network designers to create stable sectors using antennas with precise and predictable coverage patterns.
